BEST MOM!

In Mahou Shoujo Lyrical Nanoha INNOCENT, the new manga that's come out, Precia is actually like this, mainly because Alicia is still alive in this version of the Nanoha story. She's a far better mom than the Precia of the original series, and can even be a bit embarrassing at times for Fate.

There is also a fanfic "Game Theory", where Precia is... somewhat better than in the original, all while in the classic MGLN continuity. Read it, it's awesome.
