I don't get this mahjong hand... am I missing something, or is there an error or is this worth something by american mahjong rules (or some other weird rules)?

I don't play Mahjong much but this hand makes no sense. Perhaps if that five-circle was a two-wan (2-3-4 2-3-4 2-3-4 2-3-4 5-5)?

well there is a total of 6 different mahjong rules... might be something beside china/japan/hongkong rules

Well, its not in tenpai yet. she would have to throw out either the 2, 5 or 8 sou and call either the 2 or 5 man.
