Seems that way, if the non-purple hair is something to go by, but I would think that change was going to take a few weeks to set in, though. Then again, I wouldn't exactly consider Carnival Phantasm canon.

A less-than-conclusive hint from HF (my bold):

That could mean one thing or the other, but I always had the impression Zouken didn't waste any time for niceties.

Not to mention that in the manga Shinji met her when she already was infested by the worms

I know. It´s only based on the events of Unlimited Blade Works....except that Shinji survives, which is already bad enough (-_-)
