Eirin is a God plus she's doing this for free probably. More likely that the SDM will be thankful for her help.

Akpth, I've just been Dan Browned.

The drill is all wrong, the crook should be about two inches from the tip, not 6 inches. The tip should be at a 90 degree angle, not sticking straight out. Otherwise you wouldn't be able to fit it in the patient's mouth. Teeth are drilled from the top down, not from the side.

I can't even tell what the other thing is. A water dispenser? A suction tube? A blowtorch!? There's no buttons or levers on it that you can see, on account of her hand placement. Oh, and speaking of hand (mis)placement, the grip is entirely wrong. You don't go digging around in a person's mouth like you're a chimp swinging from tree to tree. A pencil grip would be a reasonable approximation of proper technique.

There's no bib, no rubber dam, the patient is already drooling on herself for pete's sake! And she's balancing her head in her lap, instead of on a chair. You flunk dental school forever!

Sure is a cute picture though :)

My thought is that the Lunar Capital is where the highest, noblest gods live - that sort of setting. On the other hand, Gensokyo is where the more friendly, indigenous gods live. I figured that there are factions even among gods. Eirin is one of them, which is why she isn't interacting with the other humans after she moved to Gensokyo.

He didn't say she was a highest god(dess). She certainly lived among high level gods in the Moon, but I don't think she's one.

I know that ending, and IIRC it happens on the netherworld, a place where the immortals can't enter. (I need to complete IN again to check it).

Mokou never explicitly states they cannot enter the Netherworld. She says (quote taken from Ghost Team Extra):

"Ghosts without a soul cannot be born...
People who can't die cannot know the world of the dead."

This is a metaphorical statement - just like those who live "know the world of the living."

Unless of course you're referring to the next to last sentence (that being "Humans can't get there without dying.")
Considering that Eirin is not human (lunarian and now goddess), it's not farfetched to say that she doesn't have to abide by that.
Also, that statement is discredited by the events of Perfect Cherry Blossom where three humans actually engage Yuyuko in the Netherworld (Sakuya, Reimu, Marisa are all human).

She's not a god and what you just quoted proves it on multiple levels. Whether or not she's immortal is also still questionable as she didn't say exactly which drug she took.

Even if she did, its foolish to take anything any of the girls say literally or seriously as they are all well known for bluffing and bullshitting each other constantly for the sake of theatrics.

Your information is out of date. In the interview section of Symposium of Post Mysticism, ZUN clearly states that Eirin is a lunar god. For the sake of enlightenment, I'll copy and paste the relevant sections here:

Interviewer: "Now that you mention it, since there are also gods living on the moon, does that mean that Lunarians really are better?"
Zun: My thought is that the Lunar Capital is where the highest, noblest gods live - that sort of setting. On the other hand, Gensokyo is where the more friendly, indigenous gods live. I figured that there are factions even among gods. Eirin is one of them, which is why she isn't interacting with the other humans after she moved to Gensokyo.

Also, she stated precisely what she took.
Eirin: I have taken the medicine which I made through the Princess's power. The Hourai Elixir is the elixir of immortality was created by Eirin Yagokoro using Kaguya Houraisan's power of the manipulation of eternity.

That's pretty specific to what she took.

If she's a goddess, then there's no point in her taking the elixir, since deities are immortal in the first place. ZUN probably means he sees her as a powerful figure similar to that of a goddess.

Goddesses clearly are not immortal so yes, she gains from drinking the elixir.

Gods need faith. This is what Kanako and Suwako was afraid of in the real world. They have already seen so much of their fellow god freinds die already. Thus, gods are not truely Immortal. The Horai Elixer on the other hand does you make a true Immortal.

Not all deities need faith. Hina, despite being a goddess, does not need faith to survive.

So in short, Eirin isn't actually a goddess, but she has relations to a goddess or goddesses, so ZUN is saying that he sees her image like that a goddess. You're not supposed to take what he said literally.

And Shizuha, if I'm not wrong, is a goddess that represents autumn and doesn't actually need faith.
