The start of this comic was drawn 12/21/2010, and everyone got an eye color change around the middle. I'm pretty sure potato pot just changed his mind on how to draw them.

Technically, "Dual Spark" isn't a spellcard at all, since the PC-98 games had no spell cards.
Besides, Yuuka's ability to split into two might be like Cirno's ability to freeze bullets, neither of which are required declaration. In this case, Dual Spark isn't a spell card, just a Master Spark from two different Yuuka's.
