Yeah been green for awhile (since this comic post #1062030)

In the panel where she's falling, it kinda looks like one of Cirno's wings disappeared.

I think something is going wrong. I mean, Yuuka's face is not the face you expect from someone who just destroyed the enemy.

Yeah, it looks like she's frustrated at something.

Cirno is falling on Yuuka's head knocking her out cold.

I dunno, she always struck me as a bit of a blood knight. Maybe she's disappointed that after breaking her own limitation on sparking, Cirno is in the process of folding like a cheap suit instead of stepping up to the plate?

Well, with all the possibilities here, I'm gonna put my money in that Cirno has evolved into a Yuuka.

I wonder if Yuuka has finally realized what Keine's responsible for here.

Her eyes have varied between blue and green since the beginning of the comic, specifically the battle segment if memory serves. (Blue to begin with, green when she used her first spell, blue when her 'special ability' was activated, green now...)

I wonder if Yuuka's aim is still the same as as suspected? It's a little hard to tell now. I can't tell if she's got her teeth clenched out of guilt or frustration or just because she's pushing herself to get out there and catch her. Hmm...

After the first time her eyes are green, the one time her eyes go back to blue was in a recycled piece of artwork that was originally drawn over a year before the rest of the comic. It's art evolution.

Eh? I thought the only recycled artwork of her was when she used the first spell? The one with the short sleeves? Her eyes are green there. They're blue in the more recent panel when she freezes the danmaku. They go back to green in the pages after that, though.

Anyway, we're both basically saying the same thing, though. Her eye color is pretty much no indication of her state of affairs.

It might just be the obvious here. She only intended to break the ice and win the match. Killing (or seriously maiming at least) Cirno in the process wasn't her goal and not something she is going to accept.

Yuuka obviously did not wanted to hurt Cirno, but apparently did not wanted to make her feel the same way Marisa and Reimu did when they did not fought her seriously either, this was possibly the only logical outcome

I dare say she only worked out the combination hiding the cirno thing, Masterspark was only speculated

It may be that instead of forcing Cirno to become a Youkai, the goal was to prevent it. It's actually rather sad when you think about it. Changing into something that would eventually die.

I blame Mystia for this. If she hadn't fucked up her spellcard, she could have forced Yuuka to waste a spellcard herself. And then they could have won. Silly Mystia.

...You do realize that the plan was to divert Yuuka's attention to form that giant block of ice, right?
