Just a warning, it is generally frowned upon to upload your own artwork. In fact, I'm pretty sure its against the rules. This site is not like Deviantart or Pixiv. Just a friendly heads-up.

That's fine and all, but if you're truly the artist of that work, then I'm pretty sure it will be deleted. Again, it is very frowned upon to upload your own work, and it will most likely not be accepted in the Mod Queue, whether it's quality or not usually doesn't matter. I would suggest you avoid uploading your own work in the future.

It is, but as a general rule you are better off if someone else decides it is worth uploading. It'll be approved or not by the mods as they see fit but at least that way the decision to add it is unbiased.

No. There's nothing unbiased about the uploading/approval process. The reason we don't want people uploading their own stuff is if/when it gets deleted it's much more likely to cause drama as the artist is generally much more invested in the piece than anyone.

Not true, quality always matters. If it's good it stays. The deletion rate for self-uploaded stuff is just so high because most of it is awful.

Not sure if this is true. I'm pretty sure quality artwork that were accepted by those who uploaded their own work were very much exceptions, but generally even if the artwork is quality it most likely won't get accepted because it is a blatant violations of the rules.

Not to pull this card or anything, but I've been a Janitor for a while, so I have a wider view of Danbooru than most. As such I think you can more or less take my word for it.
