For those who are actually confused, I was talking about jastusa.com. Peter Payne runs *that* site as well as numerous others, and also frequents Danbooru.com, so the note was for him for directing business his way. I'm sucking up for a discount.

While I'm sure he'd be happy to give you one if you asked really nicely, I think he'll need the money. Eroges translated into English aren't exactly a hot item right now, and his stuff is just as subject to the "90% of the players of any given title are pirating it" rule?
Sure, his stuff is a damned sight better than using machine translation, but I think he's still stuck in the rather odd position of not having the money to bring the real hits over and still not having enough consistent customers buying his stuff.
I was lucky enough to land a genuine copy of this game at a convention. Hopefully his company won't end up like Hirameki International did.

I applaud Interpol for catching international pedophiles like Christopher Paul Neil and his ilk, but at times I think the moral panic against eroges is a bit old and tired.
Anyone else think it's vaguely silly that characters like Aeka and Nekoko from this game are supposed to be college-aged (according to Peach Princess) and yet are clearly (in Aeka's case) still in high school?
Isn't the "age of consent" in Japan only 14 anyhow? That might explain why so many eroge are set amongst high school or junior high school settings.

I'm pretty sure when it comes to all the games from JastUSA. the in-game profiles are just changed to 18 and up to deal with the "legal age of 18" thats for america. Cause i sure as hell know that all the girls in Snow Sakura are under 18. Then again, its not like we in the know already know they are not 18. so just go with it. Any translation is better than no translation after all.If you really want to know the ages of the girls. just go hit the japanese site. Even if you cant read it. you should be able to get to the characters section and see their ages in regular numbers. Since thats universal.
