IIRC, the original Nerve gear intercepted ALL signals from your body, including pain, pleasure etc etc, which is why the second generation dive gear automatically ejected you from the game if your real body felt intense sensations/noises.

Well since there is no way to log out i guess it works only other thing is the stimulation could cause the helmet to kill her
