    I don't know what I'm doing wrong, but the second kanji in Nitori's line isn't coming up in WWWJDIC no matter what radicals I select, nor with drawing recognition or SKIP. Can someone give me a hand with it?

    An oversimplified 魔? Then it would be "邪魔すんなよ" and that would fit as Nitori's response to Hina. Otherwise there is nothing in EDICT that is close enough.

    That is one hell of an over-simplification, but I'll go with it. I'm leaving it tagged for checking, though, as that many strokes dropped are suspicious...

    It's a common shorthand for 魔. Wikipedia has a quick little explanation on it here.

    I've never seen shorthand like that, although I can see where it's coming from. Japanese writing can use speeding up sometimes compared to western...

    Haven't seen that particular simplification before, interesting. I did notice the part under the enclosure looks like the katakana マ, which does happen to be the reading/pronunciation for 魔.
