If I may ask (flaggers or others), where does 'not liking an image' cross over into 'wanting image removed from Danbooru'?

To me it seems like Danbooru should be more inclusive than exclusive, as supported by the one-moderator-approvals and the contributor system.

Ah yeah, sukedai's works. I don't think his art is too bad - I agree with your appeal of that post in remaining objective.

I've been wondering if there should be a deviant fetish tag (pool?) to help people avoid that sort of content. I'm willing to defend it's place on Danbooru however - tentacles are just as weird, just well established.

I think it'd be cool if Danbooru had a guided tutorial - instructing users on blacklisting and such..

Touché. Very true - I suppose we just need to keep creating tags for them then.

But this has become a digression - that process wouldn't work for the "poorly applied foreshortening" and "rough quality" arguments laid against this image, being subjective in nature.

I'm personally willing to trust the moderation queue and those elevated to contributor status... So I'll just have to trust said moderators' judgement in responding to these flags, I guess.

I feel like Danbooru is becoming a little too much like YouTube lately comment and flagging wise. It may not seem like it yet, however, I can only say think before you act. When you feel like flagging an image, bring up the flagging guidelines and read it off as you're looking at the post. If it does not match the reasons for being flagged, then don't do it. Also, if you're unsure about whether or not to flag it, ask in the comments. Although this is only how I feel. You may choose to listen to me or not. It's your choice.

Last time I gave voice on quality and stuff, Log locked the forum thread because of "the vision of it being unproductive". My post in a nutshell: General quality => rock bottom. If want to improve it, then get hate from people accustomed with garbage as being "okay".
Note: I didn't flag this, mind you.
