Her dress is usually drawn as being really big in the midsection and bulbous on the skirt, probably to make it look like the body segments of a spider (or sometimes to make it seem like she has a bunch of legs stowed in the skirt). Here it's just being constricted by the rope, this artist going with the "the dress was just made that way, she has a normal girl body under it" concept.
