I know he's the only shown humanoid male, but the whole "all the girls have a boner for him" thing doesn't make sense. He's a junk salesman living in a van down by the riv-... I mean, a shack out in the woods. Any of the girls that might have a preference for males could do much better than him.

Technically, Youki's in hermitage. But regardless, he's an old man and Rinnosuke('s shop) is canonically well-known in Gensokyo, so I don't think Youki would ever get much attention from the girls...
