She can only eat and rewrite "history" as it is told or written. She can't actually erase facts.

In IN she ate the "history" of the village existing, but the village didn't actually disappeared, but was just hidden.

In fact, Yukari was able to see through that disguise quite easily...

Yep. I never like it when people exaggerate her power like they do with Yukari.

I would also like to mention that the only time Keine is able to rewrite history is during the full moon, where she becomes a hakutaku, so unless there's a full moon, she can't do nothing about it.
