I wouldn't say that as Reisen was the original "Newbie target" girl (i.e. newbie doujin writers started out having stuff with her in it)

Though the full bulk of the Sanae smut didn't hit until her playable character promotion, but even before then she got a decent bit (being a well endowed good school girl shrine maiden)

I think Aya was another high target character.

I think the more typical cases (Yukari, sakuya, Yuyuko) aren't counted as by the people most people notice touhou, they've already had a good few years worth of build up.

Though oddly enough Komachi doesn't get too many doujins compared to above cases. Sort of odd as usually busty chicks get tons of porn (See Mai and Tifa) I think in Kasen's case it's the matter of fashion propelling her.

I still find it amazing how a manga-only Touhou character managed to get so many pics that sexualize her a good amount (yes, that's including the worksafe stuff as well) in what is basically a very short time. Canon or fanon, Kasen doesn't come off as the type of character that would be involved in stuff like that (Seiga seems to fit that bill better as far as the hermits go.)

Regarding Komachi, I would attribute her lack of H-doujins moreso to her lack of popularity. Her design can (and has, many times) be easily altered to give her a large increase in sex appeal and the right shots can boost it up even more, but every Touhou StriderTuna named off has her beat out in the popularity field. Yuugi is a similar boat, but she has even less popularity (AFAIK) and has the muscle thing going on that would also hamper her appeal/exposure with those types of doujins.

As for Aya, I'm certain that's a no-brainer. She has the popularity, design, and her fanon portrayal just screams "I know my way around in bed."

That might be a factor as japan seems to love a good girl in naughty situations. (Hence why Riesz gets far more stuff than Angela despite the latter being curvier and naughtier), it's likely the corner stone of Sanae's H-fodderness.

Though Komachi has never been an unpopular character, just not one to make much appearances compared to others. Though the biggest thing would be she isn't show interacting as much at a glance and fanon is lazy usually in expanding characterization/etc.

Though I think Komachi's benefiting from WaHH as it's something she regularly appears in and who wouldn't want to be in a Komachi and Kasen sandwich.

Yuugi I think sort of suffers from being a busty blonde in a series that has 2-3 of them already. That and SA wasn't exactly a warmly welcome game at first. That and the underground isn't the most human friendly place. One more thing: not even japanese doujin writers are stupid enough to presume an Oni could be raped by just anybody. (The three most popular are victims of numerous rape doujins)

Though it's a bit unfair comparing these characters with ones that have been around for a while.

Heck Aya likely overcame her lowly PoFV debut through in short session getting her own game and appearing in MoF.

It's laughably stupid to presume any of the characters could ever get raped. They're all cosmically empowered magical mythological beings. It's like someone thinking the real world mafia could go shake down an endgame DBZ villian for protection money. Or thinking a mall cop is going to permanently put Lupin III in jail.

But those sellout artists that whore their talents out for a cheap buck or thrill with that kind of crap don't really care about things like logic and integrity.
