Recommend playing ALL three games. They're very similar, especially Ib and The Witch's House in particular.

I played Yume Nikki quite a while back, and really liked it. Seeing all the love for Ib on Pixiv, I've been meaning to get around to it.

What doesn't make sense here is Ib and that bloody sword...

I don't think that's blood, it looks more like the pattern that appears on katanas in general.

But yeah, Ib with a katana confuses me.

This picture is the first time I heard of The Witch's House. Since I love Yume Nikki and Ib, I decided to check it out.

I just finished it and... feel rather trolled. And I blame this picture, since it made me curious. Because that totally makes sense. Still a good game, though.

Also a nice picture. That's not how I imagined the knife in TWH and Ib with a katana is rather odd, but I guess Okuva just wanted to have her a blade weapon too, since all the others have one, and thought that katanas are cool.

Actually it's machete. If I remember correct, the first item what you acquire in game.

Now we only need Aya from Mad Father wielding her chainsaw.
