Staff Officer Yang Wenli and war widow-cum-peace activist Jessica Edwards. Despite their opposing occupations, they seek the same ends, spurred onward by the same fateful loss.

The object in the background is Iserlohn Fortress, an allegedly impregnable Imperial frontier base. Protected by a layer of liquid metal, and home to the mighty weapon known as the Thor Hammer, Iserlohn is situated in the most vital (and violently disputed) territory in the galaxy.
