An interesting result, considering that Nue said that she wanted to eat meat.

They wanted to make "rice gruel with seven spring plants" and, well, ended up with just "plants" :3

Some of the "herbs" took a bit more research than anticipated...

Well this is what happens when you have two goof balls tasked with dinner: They get an idea and by bouncing it off of each other, it goes too far.

Also, "beginning of January" and "well-grown plants" just do not compute. It's -20~-30 C (-4~-22 F) here since December, and this will continue until late March :3

Isn't tanpopo (タンポポ) dandelion rather than sunflower?

I can't explain the reasoning; that's just what the info says.

Oops, you're right. I should know better than to go off memory for stuff like that.

    Chickweed.
    Garden sorrel.
Flourishing Parsley Seri Sunawachi Sakau, one of the "72 climates" of the solar year. This one approximately equates to Jan. 5 - Jan. 9, late winter, when Japanese parsley is all well grown.
    Doggone it... osechi leftovers?
    Burdock root's not an herb.
Then we'll throw in some wakame seaweed!
Lay off the appeal for the ocean.
    Alpine gesneriad.
    Radish.
    Dandelion.
    Golden lace.
    Chrysanthemum.
    Basil.
    Oh, my.
    Meat—I want to eat meat.
    Yeah, that'd be nice.
It's our turn to make meals today, isn't it?
    Forget it.
I'm sick of it already, no surprise.
    Forget it.
You know what might work? Seven-herb gruel.
What were the seven herbs again?
Foxtail millet, regular millet, and sanwa millet?
    ...it's "herbs".
There's moderation even for simplicity, you know.
    We will—
    Kabloosh
    Umm...
I know there's parsley, shepherd's purse, burdock root...
    Kwanso daylily.
    Sea lettuce.
The "seven" and "gruel" parts just went away!?
Let's just toss these in for now. Some of them should be right.
Rock Bouquet. This appears to be a boss in Romancing SaGa 2. If she's named for an actual plant, I can't find it right off.
    Mustard spinach.
    Kabloosh
    Steam...
Lone grass. Literally translates as "grass unit", but is apparently used as 2ch net slang for a single "w"—i.e., LOL. "LOL-grass", maybe?
