The setting is "the city of Eden", on an island in the Pacific Ocean. This story is a high school comedy about "Xenotakers", people who can use special powers called "Xenos".
Holy Cathedral High School A famous school located in the heart of Eden. Students from all over the world attend it.
Yohane Bonaventura (16, male) Quiet personality. Acts like a girl in school. Has a step-brother that's 11 years older.
Miki Asai (16, female) Speaks kansai-ben. With a bright and positive personality, she's the class' mood maker. One of the 5 legendary idiots at the school.
Monaka Shiokari (16, female) Always does things at her own pace. Almost always eating something. Likes rice crackers. Infatuated with Yohane.
Fiona Hargreaves (16, female) Ranked 5th in ability. A xenotaker who uses machines. Loves Ruiga so much, it's like a sickness. When she's with him, her personality changes.
Ruiga Sukou (17, male) Looks like a bad guy, but is actually a really good guy. Can't stand up to his mother. Kind of bad with women.
Theodore Bachstein (17, male) Ranked 1st in ability. Looks androgynous. Acts as the student council president of Cathedral High School. A serious perfectionist.
Ronaldo Castroneves (17, male) Ranked 3rd in ability. A xenotaker who manipulates dolls. Since he usually talks with ventroloquism, he normally carries a puppet with him. He's afraid of strangers, and has a communication disorder that makes him not make eye contact.
Ariane Rod (18, female) Ranked 2nd in ability. Uses an unusual xeno called geis. She's prideful and has a strong will. Good friend with Irina.
Irina Kafelnikov (18, female) Ranked 4th in ability. Can control animals (mostly mammals). Can talk to them, and make them come to an understanding. A bright optimistic personality.
I listed all the characters in first name-last name order. And Ariane's name might be spelled as Arian Rhod. (I might have misspelled more of them too; I took wikipedia's advice on how to spell a lot of them.)
