    You know, I really do love these things, but doing it gives me a raging migraine.

    Wish there were stereograms for parallel viewing. Cross-eyed viewing really does hurt after a while.

    Clouds. And her body is somewhat longer on the left.

    You can make them yourself. Just load the image in some editor and swap the left and right picture. However, you have to keep in mind that the gazes of both eyes in a human are meant to cross somewhere. For parallel viewing that would mean that both images can’t be further apart than the distance of your eyes. However, you can cheat a bit and actually place the images further apart. Make sure nobody sees you because the chameleon-stare looks kinda odd.

    Here’s a formula for making your own parallel viewing image:
    dp = de + dm/30

    dp is the distance of an element in the two images, measured on your monitor. Like the distance between that girl’s noses.
    de is the distance between your eyes. Get someone to measure it for you or try the same as mine, which is 6cm.
    dm is the distance between your eyes and your monitor.

    If you’re not trained enough and it doesn’t work, try a larger number than 30. If you’re good, try a smaller number, but it will hurt your eyes more. :P

    You’ll notice that the images will be smaller than when using the cross-eyed technique, but there’s no way around that unless you dislocate your eyes.

    I absolutely LOVE these things! I'll just spend hours staring at them...

    Anyway, here's a trick that might work for some of you:
    If you're familiar with these cross-eyed stereograms, you most likely noticed that there are "ghost copies" on either side of the 3D image. It's actually caused by the fact that both eyes see both images, but only one pair is in sync with each other. Well, put your hands close to your eyes. Adjust as necessary until only one image is seen by each eye. Then make your eyes hurt again! :P You'll notice the "ghosts" are gone...

    (By the way, this is my first comment on Danbooru EVER! Yay)
