    The meaning is "Team Pravda needs you!" (literal translation "Team Pravda is calling!"), it is done as per famous Soviet propaganda poster slogan.

    Not that one. "Bearded dude" (assuming you're talking about this ) was done in 1920, urging people to volunteer to Red Army. The poster StuG was talking about is Motherland is calling , was done in late June, 1941, right after Nazi invasion.

    Edit: lol, sorry, misread "top hat", I guess you were talking about "I want you" U.S. poster.

    I'm not sure, only the caption is resembling the poster, her pose and background are different.

    You know, I have seen that photo of the propaganda poster many times, but I just noticed the sheet of paper she is holding has legible words on it. Is it supposed to be some kind of recruitment form?

    It's a military oath, should've linked the full-sized poster

    School Team "Pravda" is calling!! Most likely a reference to the famous Soviet poster from the Second World War reading "Родина-мать зовёт!" (Loose translation from Russian: "The motherland is calling!")
