we all do that bro, skarner sucks, and this make me feel guilty too T.T

This is why I keep dedicated to all of my champs. I don't care if Janna isn't as viable anymore, I still wuv her<3

I still main Skarner jungle on Normals and even Ranked. Skarner's still my favourite Jungler. Still, the crystal scar is weeping...

I find her to be a top-tier support myself.

The hell, I still main Skarner in the jungle. Was my first jungler and still my favorite jungler.

I'm usually stuck in the solo top lane as Jayce and my friends usually use Skarner. Sure it takes a bit more effort for ganks, but as long as it's done right, it does the job. And for our crew, it usually does.

Jayce is so OP that it makes up for Skarner's uselessness

The slow on his Q plus the AoE slow from the Iceborn Gauntlet make Skarner a pain to try to escape without using Flash (and with his shield, it cannot even be enough). Maybe he Doesn't deal a lot of damage, but his slows should not be taken easily. With a very aggro team, Skarner can be very useful to ganks everywhere.

Actually, Skarner deals ridiculous amounts of damage. The reasons he doesn't seem to do a lot is 1. He has to be extremely up close to do anything, meaning he'll be the sole focus of teamfights and therefore he must be tanky or risk exploding. 2. Slows don't really matter much when 80% of the champions can gap-close through walls and everyone has Flash. Impale used to be able to catch enemies even if they Flashed, but now the ultimate will go on cooldown even if the enemy Flashed when Skarner Impales. Skarner's just outclassed by much more powerful junglers like Vi, Maokai and Amumu.

As someone who mained Skarner when I wanted to Jungle, but I quit LoL months ago, this information makes me really sad. I loved Skarner.

I personally love Skarner. In aram I managed to teach a Riven not to BM under tower, I smacked her with a snowball and waited for a moment, she continued to BM and then I activated Dash and ulted her from under her tower into my team. She didn't survive. I'm actually thinking of using Skarner in the jungle, I just need to practice jungling with the gem scorpion, Skarner will get the love he/she(?) deserves!
