They should just rename danbooru to touhoubooru. almost 80% of the content here is touhou-related.

Correct. As of my typing this, there are 1511466 posts on Danbooru. The tag says there are "359K" Touhou posts, or roughly 359,000. Since the number is vague, let's round up to 360,000, just for the lulz.
Even with the inflated value, that means that only 23.81% of all posts have the Touhou tag. And even then, some of them are of non-Touhou characters cosplaying as Touhous, crossovers with other franchises, or simple cameo appearances in non-Touhou works.
