I wonder how the ability to reverse situations would fare against the supposedly unbeatable. I guess this is one thing that could happen.

That may be true, but as side-effect, Seija would probably be unable to beat someone weaker than her. (assuming the situations are always reversed)

Given the fight with her in-game, it seems that she can use her ability at will rather than it being permanently active like you suggest.

No its not.

If it was she wouldn't have lost in-game to her stronger opponents. Her power has limits as do all the girls' powers.

This picture is just the typical over-interpreting of powers to make them into ridiculous invincible god-modders that the touhou fandom loves to do so often.

Considering that she needed a wish granting mallet to achieve her goals of "reversing" society, her power certainly doesn't extend very far.

It's the same fan power modding that other characters get. People seem to think Remilia has god changing powers when in fact, Remilia can't change "What is set in stone". She can't magically make Meirin win againsts Marisa or make herself win againsts Reimu. Otherwise Marisa would never even be stealing books in the first place.

You mean in the context of the 6th game, right? Because we all know that everybody can beat/beats up everyone else in the fighting games / PoFV. And I doubt that Marisa fights Meiling every time she wants to enter the mansion. Actually, I'm pretty sure she doesn't.

I think her victory has less to do with her BS'ing her power of reversing things into probability manipulation, and more to do with the fact that she's teamed up with a kobito descended directly from Issun Boshi (a famous slayer of oni) himself. I wouldn't be surprised if Sukuna was the workhorse in that fight with Seija simply using her power to make it harder for Yuugi and Suika to fight back. She's enough of a pain as is when she flips your controls, imagine if she had Sukuna fighting alongside her!

I still want to see Sukuna and Suika team up for a "Giant, Giant Oni on the scroll."
