This was cute, yes. And it's way more believable than the usual fics that have Koishi somehow face-stomping Flandre.
I remember this doujin that explained why youkai use spell card battles with Flandre and Koishi as the main characters which had neither as the victor. Can't remember what it is though.
A lot of badass adorable fighting going on here but that Koishi... well done.

I think that things would get... interesting if the two went all out in the Mokou/Kaguya sense but that didn't happen in this comic. I don't know if Koishi was planning to reconcile the Scarlets from the very beginning but she clearly wasn't going all out - though I'd say Flan wasn't going all out either. Flan came in ready to rough and tumble while Koishi was caught off guard and probably underestimated her opponent until Four of a Kind came out.
In any case, Koishi clearly won in the end because she got what she wanted. Manipulation of the subconscious indeed.
