If you don't speak Japanese, don't even try translating.

Not to discourage your translations, it is acceptable to only translate lines, which you can.
But half-translated lines look plain silly.

While everyone has to start somewhere, this isn't the place to practice learning translation work. It takes a lot more work to go through someone's translations and edit them than it is to simply translate it.

There are many resources that would be more useful and wouldn't disrupt other's work.

However, if you intend to practice, I would suggest picking an already translated page. If you click on the page, it will hide the boxes. Translate the page, reveal the boxes, and compare. Its not the best way but if you want to use Danbooru, that might be your best bet since its not disruptive.
