This one was fairly straight-forward. Taokaka has the same “mask” problem that Shovel Knight had, which can result in the resulting combination looking like cosplay, either way - either Taokaka wearing a skimpier outfit or another girl stealing her clothes. My solution was to change the personality a little by just removing the visible mouth.

The most difficult thing was figuring out whether to go with a light blue coat or keep the tan one. Blue looked horrendous as the primary color so I decided to instead sample Fortune’s tan color, which is used with her hair, scars and her weird pointless legging-thigh things. Usually it’s hard to make the new character look distinct from the originals, but I felt like this one seemed like a separate personality.

In other news for some reason I always thought those stupid looking belt panties were really hot. I think girls wear them as swimsuits. Why do they need belts? To hold them up? Who cares. Rock those buckle panties, ladies.
