    Some Monet inspired Cardcaptor Sakura

My last submission Portal_To_My_Heart really started to make me realize that the starting point to images I care more about, is feeling. In that one I was thinking about being in peaceful awe, engulfed by the wide open world around us with its awesome ability to create.

The reason I like Monet's, "Woman with a Parasol, Facing Right," and "Woman with a Parasol, Facing Left" is that it kind of has that same feeling of having endless outdoor space where nothing bad can happen. That moment where you realize the space in which you exist and you take it all in. Parts of Cardcaptor Sakura have that feeling with me. It's probably just nostalgia though.

Anime intros always seem to have that shot of the character(s) facing in a random direction, looking into the distance, with wind blowing through their hair. It's like they are in a moment of their journey where the world is okay for a bit and they are taking in their lives and everything around it.... or enjoying a sunset, iunno.

Grab the print on my ETSY

EDIT: This was the older version i54.photobucket.com/albums/g11….
At one point I forgot about having fun and keeping it loose. Whenever I look at this first uploaded version I just think about how I let it get away from me. If you like this version more I have no problem with that :) (Smile)
