Giant Isopod, to be specific. Very much alive today, and yes that is life sized considering Ushio's size. You're probably more familiar with its relatives who roll up into little balls, and not these BAMFs who can and will kill and eat a shark if the opportunity arises. Mostly scavengers though. Mostly.
