After more than a month of inactivity it's fitting that I return to some of my "grimdark Touhou art" roots which I've been somewhat neglecting, and portraying a subject rather close to home.

Nudity in my works hasn't really had that good of a reception before, and I hope to gradually change it. I'd rather depict things with sensual beauty than blatant fanwank eroticism ... but maybe I don't have the skills to back it up consistently. Gotta keep trying, ne? ^^"

This is probably the most true-to-spirit depiction of Yuyuko I've done - I haven't drawn her that much really - and hopefully the prettiest yet. (Pardon more lazy-murky backgrounds.)

I actually started this while feeling quite down and wanting to create art out of it rather than letting it overcome me and affect me physically; weirdly fitting that while I got better, it was only after I got hit hard by something and was made a mess of and yes, shut myself away and put blade to skin and wanted to disappear ... only then did I feel motivated to complete this again.

Hoping my sempai and Yuyuko-masters Ultima-Matrixedeva-st-clare will approve of this rendition too. <=] And hoping the rest of you Touhou-fans and friends can look past the grisliness and see something appreciable in this.
