    Paper Cirno "JUMP! JUMP!!"

Yet another Paper Mario-like illustration. Previous: http://seiga.nicovideo.jp/seiga/im3661865 (post #1577974)
This time, it is a test in GIF animation production.

Since Cirno is jump-attacking without end, keep attacking that furball!
Is it always going to be Cirno's turn!?

*This specific furball is used as practice for recieving damage.

Wouldn't it be easier to gather up a rag-tag gang of Mario and Touhou enthusiasts and just mod the shit out of a Paper Mario game?

Probably be better to start from the ground up rather than mod a paper mario game.

This is worse than a fake screenshot, this is fake gameplay footage.

What's even more amazing, is that someone is putting in this much work on just an image.

I just googled "paper mario hack" and some people are working on editors, but none of it looks good enough for a total conversion.

A fangame made from scratch would be the only real option.

Programming for this shouldn't be too hard, what hard is the arts.

No. Console games like Paper Mario were never intended to be modded. And even if they were, we'd have to run the game on an emulator.

Story? The stories might be deep for Mario in the Mario RPG series, but nothing anyone couldn't think of.

I think this screams for an UbiArt adaptation.

Or a modded system, which would make the Wii a fair target due to its ease in that aspect.

A ground up PC game from the Japanese doujin community would be far more likely though.
