Also, fuck yeah, Robin is also confirmed! And seeing gool ol' Cap Falcon back is always reassuring.
I can honestly say that her and Robin (both male and female) were inclusions I wasn't expecting. I mean, I knew more Fire Emblem characters were gonna be introduced but I didn't think these would be the ones.

I suspect Lucina to be a faster, but lighter Marth.

I suspect her to be what Link Cartoon is to Link: A faster, lighter version. Or better yet, what Fox is to Wolf: A character with a few similar moves, but mostly with an original moveset (I played Brawl not too long ago, and I can guarantee that Wolf's normal moves are nowhere near as similar to Fox's as most people claim).
