I was expecting a Fletcher or a Clemson class destroyer because there are hints that the Abyssal are Allied Ship girls

Oh damn, I just realized: as this (and the previous) image shows, these ships must be I-class ocean fit-outs.

The drowned girl forms floating in the water from before (post #1745293 and post #1744690) are the girl versions, and the half-and-half versions a few images back (post #1745294) are the "land" fit-outs.

...you know, just like normal ship girls (as discussed back in the beginning, around post #1739550).
