    oh shit it looks like admiral's wife was turned into shinkaisei-kan it seems no clue if the abyssal admiral girl was their daughter though without a translation if that's the case though.

    would make for a plot twist though since they went missing according to the earlier chapters and might explain why they didn't just kill them then.

    The Admiral's daughter died when she was 3 months old at sea with his wife. So they both got turned into Abyssals.
