The 1st Oni War: Hakurei Miko were tasked to subdue the 4 Diva of the mountain to restore peace in Gensokyo.

13th Shrine Maiden Era: Hakurei Reimu and Kirisame Marisa
Religion Popularity War: the upcoming fighting games.

14th Shrine Maiden Era: Hakurei Miroku and Hinanai Tenshi
Celestial Campaign: during her training, Hakurei Miroku accidentally sunk one of the Bhava-agra mountain. the Celestial misunderstood this as a provocation of war. with the help of the eldest daughter, Tenshi, she must fix all of this disorder.

15th Shirine Maiden/ 1st Generation Barrier Knight Era: Hakurei Kureha and Hakurei Kouga
Gensokyo Expansion Project: For the first time ever, Gensokyo was split into 2 faction, those who support the expansion and those who against it. Led by the Hakurei Sibling Kureha and Kouga respectively.

16th Shrine Maiden/ 2nd Generation Barrier Knight Era: Hakurei Reiha and Hong Meiling
The 2nd Oni War: after the success of the expansion project, Gensokyo were faced with a new threat.
The Oni tribe from the underground resurfaced and claimed the newly built paradise as their homeland. Reiha, the exiled Hakurei descendants start to gather a new army to fend off the threat.

17th Shrine Maiden Era/ 3rd Generation Barrier Knight Era: Hakurei Kengo and Kazami Yuuka
Yasaka Kanako' Reign: because of the last war, many Gods in Gensokyo suffered the loss of enormous amount of Faith.
the head goddess of the Moriya Shrine, Kanako, planned to turn Gensokyo into "The land where only the Gods can live".
Hearing this, Kazami Yuuka, the representative of Youkai District, decided to train Hakurei Kengo to resolve the incident, though it seems he is less than enthusiastic about his duty.

18th Shrine Maiden Era/ 4th Generation Barrier Knight Era: Hakurei Otoha and Agito
Yukari Returns: after many centuries of her disappearance, Yakumo Yukari, the Boundary Youkai, finally showed herself. But without any of her memories and clueless about everything (she's turned into a loli too!). This, of course, can turn Gensokyo into full chaos, since the future is built by memories.
Knowing this, Ibaraki Kasen, the 2nd coming of Wicked Hermit, tasked Hakurei Otoha to travel back to the past to recollect the memories and learn the dreadful truth of his bloodline.
