I have used glasses my entire life, granted, I never put them over my face ever because you know... I need them to see, but does this ever happened to anyone? I see it quite often in anime works

I think it's more common for older peoples' reading glass before bifocal lenses are introduced. Reading glass helps to see close, but they are useless when you want to see further objects so they need to be moved out of the way.

Oh right, forgot about the "short distance blindness only" and its technical term, Im kinda lucky to be partially blind both in long and short distance I guess, I dont have to deal with this

Actually, Musashi's glasses are just accessory, her eyes are not bad.
