Yeah, a Teetoku x Teito Kuu marriage makes the most logical sense, as you generally see provisional marriages with the shipgirls seen most often and/or whoever stays secretary ship the longest in these strips. It would also be a logical way to ensure the peace between both sides lasts.
... And being logical, of course why it would never happen, and Nenohi or someone will accidentally dive in and get the ring stuck on or something in the last second for another "ha! didn't see that coming!" gag.
I can see Nenohi or RJ getting the ring. Unless the author breaks logic and the ring goes on Teetoku-Chan (because puchi don't have fingers to begin with), I doubt she will be the chosen one.

Someone went with variant long-vowelage for the puchis to differentiate them from the regular girls - particualrily where the only difference (as with Kongou) is that one is in kanji and the other in kana, hence Kongou and Kongoh. Teetoku, I dunno about. Tehtoku dosen't sound like Teitoku either - 'teh' is not the same as a t + eː.

EVEN MORE PEDANTARY! I put it in a spoiler to try to stop this from detracting from the comments about the comic itself. /me forgets its the To for 'capital' and not the Tou for 'capital'...why do they need two kanji that say the same thing? Depends where you come from with the Teh/Tee thing as to how you pronounce it I guess? I'm from the UK so 'Teh' sounds like 'Tay' to me.
Nope, New Zealand - so Queen's English all the way, chap (or lady), but we've been overly influenced Americans English, so Teh could either /tɛ/ or /tə/, or if you prefer, it's literally 'the' /ðə/ (before a consonant, anyway) with the /ð/ (th) replaced with a /t/ (Try saying it and see!).
So really, neither Teetoku or Tehtoku is correct, from a English phonetic perspective, it should really just be Teitoku (but then we run into the problem of Admiral being Teitoku in standard Japanese romanisation). Or Tay-toku. I'd read Teh as either /tə/ or /teɪ/ (< this is what you're reading it as) depending on context. However, I have no idea how Americans or non-native English speakers would default to; I would think that /tə/ would be the default for quite a lot of people.
At any rate, I didn't romanise her name the first time it came up, so I've just been rolling with it. Perhaps we should change it later? It wouldn't be too much work to go back and edit all of them...
