    The series is titled "魔性の潮", meaning "Devilishly Attractive Ushio". "魔性" can mean "Ability to attract like the devil", so apparently Ushio is the kind of girl who attracts men as if she is a siren.

    Ushio is Asahina Mikuru phase-warped into the Kantai Collection universe and given black hair and an ahoge.

    Just look at her official art, she even has the same "trapped animal staring fearfully at a predator" look, and her catchphrase is a "hyaa!" of nervousness that someone's going to sexually harass her again.
