What really shines in INOU-Battle is the characters! Mr. Yamaguchi, the character designer for INOU-Battle has really outdone himself this time. All of the characters look so cute! Especially little Chifuyu! I almost lost it when she was a step away from crying. She is just so adorable! Chifuyu aside, we have Tomoyo and Kudo, who seems to be a bit more naive than what they claim to be. Hatoko, who seems to be spaced out half the time, and Ms. Perfect Sayumi who seems to be flawless in every way except for her bitter tongue. Let’s not forget Jurai! The poor boy gets treated so badly, it tickles my maternal instincts (laughs).
