    Dina in early childhood

    The gun from her father's estate had long been her only friend.

    • I drew her as a ragged, shabbily dressed girl, but I wonder if I've gone a bit too far. Please let me know if there are any problems. I'll deal with it quickly.

    I like the emotional impact of the picture. The simple color scheme is striking especially against the blank background that leaves a lot to the viewer's imagination. We have an expression in my country referring to the ragged, but strong street dogs "Askal" which is a hybrid of two words Aso(dog) and Kalye(street). It's also the name adopted by our fledgling national soccer team. Dina is obviously an "Askal".
    Anyway, I'm into papercraft so, if you don't mind, I'd like to try my hand at making a papercraft model of Dina in appreciation and honor of your work. Well done.
