I'm not a brit, but the V sign is generally made by showing the palm/inside of your hand. Mordred is giving the finger here, only Atalanta and perhaps Karna are doing the V sign.

V with the back of the hand towards the person/s you're doing it at, is swearing. It's the Two-finger Salute, or Flipping the bird but with two fingers. Palm-forwards, like Karna & Atalanta are doing, is the V-Sign.
