I think I disagree with it. Have double translation might be a good thing. If they are the same then there's nothing to say but if one is good and one is excellent, it's obvious the excellent one will be kept. It's just better that way. I know that because I myself saw translation notes that are not so right but not wrong either and refrained from improving them and have also deleted my own translation and others' in double or triple translation cases before.
