It's weird--some of his art really looks like an anime screenshot, down to the blurry compression and gloss CG-coloring/shading used. For a moment I saw this and thought "Oh God, a Touhou anime?"

But I guess it's a matter of time, anyway.

He's probably trying to achieve that effect since he mentioned it in the description on one of his works.

Probably the only thing good about it was the nico commenting... without it it's still garbage.

A real, official Touhou anime is, as ZUN has said, quite unlikely.
