Well... fuck 2 years time. Relationships wit first cousins is legal in Japan. And yet no one beleived me when I said Japanese peopler were the rednecks of Asia.

The question, of course, is then what of the other Asian countries near Japan? How do China, the Koreas, Vietnam, etc. all view incest? I'm honestly curious.

And with regards to them being rednecks, I'd say that title should be more for the apparent xenophobic reactions I've seen.

I took it a bit differently. To me, the title seems to be more of a way to comparing their country to your own. To make it easy to relate.

The History channel seems to like comparing actions of the Roman Empire with the United States to help viewers relate.
