Tony might have done the character design for this game, but it's pretty obvious he didn't draw this picture. I don't think the artist tag should be used here. Opinions?
my opinion is to keep official art and cgs tagged with the character designer's name though it pollutes the artist's tag, it has advantages in convenience and in ambiguity since it's not always obvious who drew the picture
In my opinion, only tag images actually drawn by the artist, otherwise the informational aspect of the artist tag becomes completely useless.
Also, if I search for taka_tony or whatever, I don't want to find images that are "almost" drawn by Taka Tony.
(Note: if it's completely indistinguishable from the artist, and he's credited with it, then I'd say it's okay if there's like, a coloring assistant or whatever.)
Indeed. There is such a difference between the Genmukan pictures drawn by Tony and those drawn by random CG staff that it doesn't make sense to extend the tag to the latter. Removing; if someone wants to give a hand, jump right in.
