this manga is full of various "mystical games" which prevent the characters from doing things outside some limited set of actions - I wouldn't be surprised if there's something preventing him from taking off his jacket

Actually, This was in Kaiba's theme park. He was perfectly capable of escaping if he tried.
If his voice gives him super-strength, then shouldn't he be able to just break all the blocks? Then again, he can also break necks with his mind. So why not take off that jacket and run, Honda?

Because that copyright tag is mainly used to distinguish this series from the spinoffs. Yes, it's manga, but it's still got characters and other aspects unique to only a third of the images in the more general franchise tag.
