Too funny! But in real life, the pot wouldn't melt until the water had evaporated, which would take quite some time.

If it can be found with a two tag search, it generally doesn't become a pool.

Keep in mind that the flamethrower is normally used for instant construct. Which means it may have even higher heat output than normal flamethrowers. At extremely high temperature, water can evaporate in seconds.
