    Even if it does use some form of ion-trapping technology, it's going to fuck-up your lungs and other mucuous membranes with all the ozone it produces.

    Plasma-chan indeed.

    Edit: I've heard from an acquaintance that it actually does work, but it uses a conventional HEPA filter (basically a very fine-woven mesh) instead of any new-fangled plasma technology.

    It can spit up to 2 liters of water per day! Amazing!
    I can even defeat pollen.
    These claims have no scientific basis though. According to Sharp, the so-called "plasmacluster" technology works by splitting water into "positively charged hydrogen" and "negatively charged oxygen" "ions", which forms "plasmacluster ions" with additional water which work by simultaneously humidifying air and "trapping" pollutants. This is complete bullshit to anyone with a basic knowledge of chemistry.
    A Plasmacluster Air Purifier has arrived at my house!
