Remember the Long Wait before episodes 11 and 12? when the episode 12 was premiered a week before in a few teathers in Japan?
A bit before episode 12 actually aired, some guy (known later as the "Grimdark Troll) decided to prank "a grimderp friend" of his, by making him believe that the last episode was gonna be grim and dark and gritty with several characters deaths - including Fluffy's. To do so, that guy trolled VERY hard (and quite sucessfully) 4chan's /a/ GuP threads with pics like that one, claiming he had been in Japan and seen the preview, so that friend of his (who made the mistake of trusting /a/) could make a fool of himself saying "I told you it was gonna be grim" in public.

That's actually kind of funny. Especially the grimdark guy actually believing him, given this is a school anime.
Added it to Hilarious in Hindsight pool because rumor has it, it was because of the aforementioned trolling campaign that series director Mizushima went out of his way to state that in the movie "No people will die suddenly, there won't be any treachery or sordid events".
Also because MLLSD author Nanashiro Gorou trolled grimdark fans equally hard with the fake MLLSD previews (the ones featuring deaths, betrayal and sinking and bombing of schoolships), but this one came before that.
Christ, has it been that long? We need to see some new GuP stuff released, (though I fully admit I haven't checked out that new manga with the French team). Still waiting on that movie, or a second season, down the line...
