    Plain SexDoll (Bloodborne)

    The Plain Doll from Bloodborne. Have been watching my roommate Mick play this game, and I felt like drawing the Doll cause she is cute in a somber way.
     Also made an explicit version with those Doll Bolls you can go see on Shagbase.

    Im not playing this game myself, neither do I plan to, but I really digg the style and presentation of it.

    I find the idea of loving (or hating) someone for what they are not dubious. If you like skinny girls because they are not curvy, are you actually liking anything? Aren't you just disliking curvy girls? On the other hand, if you are like me and love skinny girls because they are skinny and curvy girls because they are curvy, then you can love them all!

    That kind of thing pops up again and again. "Wish this was futa." "Wish this wasn't futa." "Buy her a razor." "Why are all your girls bald down there?" "Excuse me but this is child porn." "I liked your stuff better when you drew loli." "X belongs with Y, not with Z!" What a waste.

    Firstly, due to the medium of text being hard to get things across without directly stating them, let me directly state that I acknowledge it's my opinion and unlike the majority of death-threat-spitting fandom fanatics, I don't really expect anyone to share it or to be "converted" by it.

    You're looking at it from a different perspective; as if this were her "default" state. I'm talking from a modification standpoint, that this isn't how she appears originally and that someone decided to change her: it's unfortunate to me that nearly every character when to be portrayed sexually, big or small, ends up needing to be bigger (extremely specifically in the breasts and hips). Take a new, completely neutrally shaped "average" adult female character and start a stopwatch to see how long it takes for someone to slap big spherical boobs and utterly massive hips on it. Very high chances are it'll stop long before the one you start to measure the time until someone makes a twiggy flat-board version of it.

    The flipside of it also disappoints me; that if the chance happens that the character isn't going to be made extremely "curvy," they're gonna be a tiny loli. The renditions that sit somewhere in the middle are my favorite because they feel much more real, especially because it's apparently really difficult to draw realistic large breasts or anatomically believable skinny torsos. And, Plain Doll fits right in the smaller side of that middle domain: she is pretty flat chested, but she has a little hip to her accentuated by her corset. Stapling on huge tits "just because" feels hollow, especially in a case like this where the only other change made was widening the hips; the rest of her body is still tiny and it doesn't look right.

    If you care to take a surf through my favorites (which is quite an endeavor) minus the comics you'll find both tiny loli and curvy girls too. The characters therein represented were designed to be that way; tiny Murakumo is generally properly tiny, curvy Nagato/Mutsu are generally properly curvy without balloon tits or cow hips and overall larger stature to match. Unfortunately the curvy ladies are probably in the minority, because it's harder to find decent anatomy among art of them.

    I can see what you're saying. Seeking extremes like that - call it expressionism or fetishism - is quite popular, especially in sexual art. It's never gotten on my nerves the way it's getting on yours. I appreciate both hyper-sexualized and more balanced anatomies, if they are expressive and stylish.

    The way Shadman's style clashes with the official art is actually one of the reasons why I uploaded this. I like contrasts, and I have a strong iconoclast tendency. If something seems to be developing into a holy cow, then I'll think it's fun to attempt to tip it. Always in a positive, cheeky way, though. I'd never post something awful just to cause offense.
